I went to the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine this past weekend. Saturday was a beautiful day - perfect temperature and perfectly clear. I love this fair because of all the working crafts, great food, interesting people to talk to, good music, lots of animals, and great people-watching.
These cutie alpacas live right next to the fair grounds. We took a little detour to see them.
A farmer's work is never done. :-)
The farmer's market is right near the entrance.
Naturally one of my favorite shots - antique spinning wheels.
Katie's favorite food of all time - tomatoes!
Inspecting the produce...
In case you can't read this sign it says, "Fingers look like carrots." What do you think?

Looks like a fun weeked! The weather was perfect for it and the vegetables all look delicious!
Great pictures! I'm glad you posted so many, since I didn't get to go to the fair. I like the one of Raf the farmer and the one of Seven and Noa. Your new basket is beautiful. Nathan brought me some of those Chinese lanterns. They are pretty!
sorry you caught me working that day, you know how it is!! =)
awesome fair!
What a great day. So glad you could all come up for the weekend, and the weather cooperated.
